Our Story
In 1995, RTC was birthed out of revivals and crusades led by a collaboration of churches. Pastor Brower and others had a strong desire to work together to make a change in the community. God revealed His desire for a church to emerge out of this desire. The church started with 3 members in a fish house in Siler City and later moved to Oakwood Avenue. In only a few years, the church exploded to be one of the fastest-growing churches in Lee County and beyond. At close to 200 members, the church moved to its current location at Ponderosa Road. The heart of the ministry was and continues to be restoring God's people to their original place of purpose.
Our Vision
1,000 Leaders
1,000 Families
Our vision is to raise up a generation of 1,000 leaders and restore 1,000 families to manifest the kingdom of God in the community.
RTC will train 1,000 leaders to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ by helping them to identify and sharpen their unique spiritual gifts and talents and by equipping them with leadership skills necessary to advance the kingdom of God.
We will also restore 1,000 families to be whole spiritually, physically, and economically by providing programs and counseling geared to the needs of the family and surrounding communities.
What We Believe
-
Every person is unique and important, and has a divine purpose.
-
We Believe in God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit and that they are distinct personalities with distinct roles, but one God. And that One God is the Creator of the universe.
-
The Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God.
-
Jesus Christ is the Savior, the Son of God who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on a cross, and was raised from the grave. He will return as our victorious Lord.
-
Our salvation comes only through Jesus Christ and cannot be earned. It is a gift of God.
-
We believe in the present day operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, as recorded in 1 Cor 12.
